As Head of Operations, Cheryl knows what it takes to run a full service construction company while working in partnership with investors, owners, customers and employees. Cheryl owned her own construction and manufacturing company for 18 years before joining MFCC. She has also served as Executive Director of a nonprofit housing company and was the Director of Property Management for a Real Estate Investment Firm.
Cheryl developed her 10 year business consulting career as a tenured Sr. Management Consultant with Accenture plc. Collectively, Cheryl has managed multi-million dollar companies, departments and portfolios, built or remodeled over 100 single-family homes, and completed $70m in commercial and multifamily residential renovations. Cheryl is a licensed residential builder in Michigan and holds her Master Degrees from Loyola University of Chicago.
John served as Head of Construction from March 2019-April 2023. He now serves as Head of Business Development. John’s been in construction for over 20 years and owned his own construction company for 4 years before joining MFCC. John excels in helping clients perform the due diligence required to build out construction budgets. Most notably, John finds the balance between getting construction work done while being mindful of the “investor/owner first” mindset. He knows and values other people’s time and money.
John’s upbeat demeanor is supported by his commitment to get things done, communicate with stakeholders and manage realistic expectations. Collectively, he has built or remodeled over 650 single-family homes and completed $60mm in commercial and multifamily residential renovations. John is a licensed residential builder in Michigan and Ohio.
As Head of Construction, Josh’s career portfolio of over $600mm in commercial construction, comprehensive knowledge, strategic vision, and unwavering commitment to excellence make him an invaluable asset to any organization seeking unparalleled success in the field of commercial construction.
With approximately $25 million under contract as of April 2024, Josh’s expertise and strategic approach have significantly contributed to the growth and success for our clients’ construction needs and MFCC’s success.
Prior to joining MFCC in January 2022, Josh held key roles at renowned organizations such as Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), Americas Project and Development Services (PDS), and Citizens Financial Group.
At Citizens Bank, he successfully led the initiative to survey, design, and begin the effort to bring 1200+ locations fully ADA compliant by 2026. He also played an instrumental role in the construction of Citizen’s new 424,00sf HQ in Johnston, Rhode Island.
Sr. Construction Manager
Shuja joined MFCC in October 2023. Shuja’s 30 years and $1.58 billion construction management experience spans the entire design/build life cycle. Throughout the process, Shuja stays keenly focused on delivery while maintaining strong partnerships with owners, architects, engineers, and developers.
Shuja oversees the Construction Managers, Superintendents, and Construction Teams at job sites. This includes bringing a consistent set of quality standards to every job and maintaining a close eye on delivery.
Pre-Construction Manager
Alex joined MFCC in September 2019. Alex currently serves as our pre-construction manager responsible for monitoring the bidding process, establishing the contract documents, and facilitating OAC meetings.
With $19mm of construction management experience under his belt, Alex has been a steady force in MFCC’s ability to deliver multifamily, CAPEX and insurance restoration work for our clients. He is focused and results-driven to provide each client with cost effective solutions.
Construction Manager
Josiah joined MFCC in October 2019. Josiah currently oversees a variety of projects as a PM and site superintendent. He is a boots-on-the ground PM who excels in maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors. These relationships are the foundation for delivering on time and within budget.
With $24mm of construction management experience under his belt, he has been a steady force in MFCC’s ability to deliver multifamily, CAPEX and insurance restoration work for our clients.
Construction Manager
Eric joined MFCC in September 2022. From High Rises to Neighborhood Communities and Industrial Centers, Eric’s 30 years in the business gives owners and investors the confidence that the job will be done right, on time and within budget.
Eric’s broad and deep construction experience makes him an invaluable member for any construction project. He’s solid with tradespersons on the job and builds great relationships with clients and team members alike.
Operations & Purchasing Manager
Jason joined MFCC in September 2020 to oversee day to day operations and procurement. Spanning 26 years in quality assurance within manufacturing and construction, coupled with a degree in engineering and ISO 9001 training, Jason assures a keen attention to detail.
Jason’s training and experience also makes him one of the best purchasing managers. He has the uncanny ability to translate blueprints and product specifications into the right value for the dollar level to suit a client’s construction budget.
Office Assistant
Caroline joined MFCC in March 2019 and is the voice you hear when you call.
She also tends to a variety of office needs throughout the day.
